Softglobe develops and publishes applications for web and mobile devices. "Softglobe", or "we", "us" refers to developer of this system - Ashish Joshi, and here he uses a developer name as "Softglobe Technologies" for development and publishing of this system. This policy applies for the "DigiClass" system which contains the webapp and a mobile application.

This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use "DigiClass" product, service, content, digiclass.softglobe.net and /or the other domains provided by Softglobe, together referred to as "services". This Privacy Policy describes:

• What information we collect, how we collect it, and why
• How we use that information and with whom we share it
• how you can access and update that information
• the choices you can make about how we collect, use and share your information
• how we protect the information we store about you

If you do not want DigiClass to collect, store, use, and share your information in the ways described in this privacy policy, you may not use DigiClass.

1. Information We Collect

We Collect following types of information:

As an Institute, Information you provide us directly:

• Your Institute name, password and e-mail address when you put a registration request.
• Profile Information that you provide for your profile (e.g. name, picture, Institute info). This information allows us to show to your students through app.
• Communications between you and DigiClass. For example, we may send you service related emails (e.g. account verification, changes to features of the service, technical and security notices). Note that you may not opt out of service-related e-mails.

As an Institute, Students' Information you upload to our servers:

• The Student's personal details (e.g. Name, Gender, Email, password, Roll No.)
• Student's fee details about total, paid and remaining amount
• Student's daily attendance reports, marks of test results conducted in your Institute

2. Use of Your personal Information

As an Institute, Your personal information:

We use your personal information to:

• Provide you a better service
• To make important communications about DigiClass including various types of support operations
• To identify you uniquely and show your related data to your students using DigiClass app

Our usage of data about your students:

The data you upload on our servers will not be accessed by us. We never look, use or share that data to anyone at any cost. If you have children under 13 years of age enrolled in your Institute, then you must build a privacy policy complying to COPPA and include it in the information section of your Institues. Otherwise, you should consider not enrolling them in the online DigiClass system.

As a Student, Your personal information:

Your data will be put on our servers by your Institute and they have full access on your all data. The Institutes can add, delete modify the students' data. We never use students' data for any purpose except when contacting them if they want support for the product from us. However, the students' data is the responsibility of Institutes. Please have a look at your respective Institute's privacy policy for better understanding of how they use your data.

3. Children under 13 years of age (COPPA)

We personally do not directly collect the data of children under 13 years of age. However, the Institues using our platform for maintaining students' data may collect and use the children data. We, as stated in section No. 2, do not use, access the students' data for any purpose except when contacting them if they want support for the product from us. You have the right to ask the institute about usage of your data as the data is maintained by Institues. For details, you may see their privacy to better understand how they use your data.

4. Communication from DigiClass

We may contact you via email:

• For replying back to your query if required
• When you accept to receive information or other services from us, we use your email address and any other information you give us to provide you the services you requested, until you asks us to stop (using 'unsubscribe' instructions provided with each email), or until the information or service is no longer available.
• We will never use your email address or other information to provide you with any unsolicited messages or information (unless that is part of service you requested), nor will we share it with or sell, rent or lease it to any third party for such use.
• In some cases, DigiClass needs to send you some "transactional" emails relating to normal business operations. These are a mandatory service emails and you cannot opt out from these emails.

5. Advertising networks policy

We may include, change any advertising agency in our app / website. Some of your data may be used by ad networks to show the relevant advertisements. A detailed usage of data can be seen at the respective Ad network's Privacy Policy.

6. Business Transfers,Combinations and Related Activities

As we develop our business, we might sell, buy, restructure or reorganize businesses or assets. In the event of any sale, merger, reorganization, restructuring, dissolution or similar event involving our business assets, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.

If you have any complaints regarding our compliance with this privacy policy, you should first contact us. We will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclose of personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

8. Future changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary to reflect changes we make and to satisfy legal requirements.
